Education

Christina Noble grew up in Dublin in very difficult circumstances, experiencing poverty and hardship from a young age. Her early life was marked by survival rather than formal schooling, and she faced challenges that most young people never encounter. Despite having limited access to conventional education, she developed a fierce determination and deep empathy that would shape everything she went on to do.

Career

After years of hardship in Ireland and abroad, Christina had a vivid dream about the children of Vietnam that she felt compelled to act on. In 1989, she travelled to Ho Chi Minh City and founded the Christina Noble Children's Foundation, providing healthcare, education, and shelter to some of the most vulnerable children in the world. The foundation grew to support hundreds of thousands of children across Vietnam and Mongolia, driven entirely by her refusal to give up on others.

Key Lesson

Christina's story shows that your starting point does not determine where you can end up. Even without formal qualifications or money, one person with courage and compassion can change the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. If something moves you deeply, that feeling is worth listening to.
