"What if you walked Ireland's whole west coast — one weekend section at a time?"
There is something quietly outrageous about deciding to walk an entire coastline, even if you do it in stolen weekends over a few years. One stretch of the Connemara coast or the Dingle Peninsula will hit differently on foot than it ever could through a car window — the wind in your face, the Atlantic doing whatever it likes, and the odd farmer giving you a nod like you belong there. You learn that you are more capable than your sofa ever suggested, and each section leaves you already planning the next one.

I started with the section from Killala down toward Ballycastle because I could leave the car at my mother's and get a lift back, which tells you everything about how seriously I was taking it.
